More specifically, her philosophy to make effective, positive change in the lives of others delivers results that are practical, vibrant, lasting and personalized to each client and business. Professional Profile After accepting multiple awards in Fashion / Textile design, Teresa Lindsay was offered the chance to apprentice in design and manufacturing with a popular swimwear company in Victoria, BC. Teresa has assisted Television hosts, top executives, professionals, small business owners and women returning to the work force. Always on the cuff of fashion projects, Teresa has been involved as a fashion stylist for Trends Magazine (1998-1999) overseeing the photo shoots and handling the fashion coordination and models' finishing touches, the BC Women's Show (Tradeshow) in 1998 she conceived and delivered the Show's first entirely live Before and After Make Over fundraising event for the Heart & Stroke Foundation, in 1999 Teresa was asked to help develop a successful new division of Eaton's (Department store) Personal Shopping Department in Victoria, BC which resulted in an increase of over three hundred clients in the first year along with creating and hosting live in-store makeovers coordinated with on-site hair stylists and make up artists, and within the same year Teresa and four other women decided to start a non-profit organization, which could improve the chances for financially challenged women in training programs to re-enter the work force by providing the appropriate attire for the job interview process. Today, Wear 2 Start has been the non-profit of choice for many organizations' fundraisers in Victoria, BC, and has received several awards from the community and the Victoria Foundation. By 2000, Ms. Lindsay was head-hunted for managing an onboard shopping program on Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruise lines, where she delivered marketing campaigns, edited script, and co-produced hour-long onboard live presentations and television infomercials for shopping (250 retailers) in over twenty-five ports-of- call in the Caribbean, Mexico, Panama, the United States, Canada, and Alaska. For over two and half years, her experience as an account executive, generated revenue that grossed over twelve million dollars per year. Over the years, she has been interviewed and featured various times by CFAX radio, CH Television, Shaw Television, and Time Colonist newspapers. Her articles and motivational advice has appeared in local magazine, catalogs, business newspapers, corporate policies, and women focused group programs.
