February Street Style

Peter Cheesbrough

If you happened to have missed the November & December 2008 issues, our SNAP’py dressers were finely attired from all sorts of shops in Victoria and several brands you can find here. Yet I also hoped to discover someone wearing a combination of fashion finds. There are hundreds of fabulous personal fashion collections out there home to second-hand wonders. And, with a little luck, we found Peter Cheesbrough, who had cut a look all his own with parts from all over. Literally!

“I think most of what I am wearing I found second hand.” (Bingo!) “My jacket I picked up in Ontario, in a small second-hand shop.” (Made by ‘High Voltage’). Even though it screamed vintage leather, it sadly wasn’t and Peter, of course, loves it anyhow.

Is there anything special you can tell us about the rest of what you’re wearing?
“This sweater I found at Zara when I was in Toronto. These Jeans, I bought those at a second-hand store in Austin Texas.”
Finishing off his look, his forever in-style leather cowboy boots were another great investment, found on a different journey south of the boarder – to none other than good old Montana!

Even though Peter’s cap and sunglasses were nameless treasures, this “brand free” man wasn’t alone! He was paired with a female counterpart who needed to be featured all on her own. So, watch for her in next month’s issue and you’ll understand how irresistible they were side-by-side.
